Ex Talk It Down

One cadet can see the device. The other has the procedure. Talk it down over GreenVoice before the timer runs out.

1 · Your net

MHz

Station A's device is linked to this net, so GreenVoice can score your voice procedure during the game. Leave it blank to play on real radios.

2 · Choose your station

How a round works

  1. Station A sends the serial number phonetically. Station B reads it back.
  2. Station A describes the device. Station B identifies its type from the recognition guide.
  3. Station A starts the timer.
  4. Station B asks what is fitted and gives orders, one module at a time.
  5. Three faults, or the timer reaching zero, and the device functions.
Instructor notes RSVP

When the device is linked to a GreenVoice net, each transmission is checked for rhythm, speed, voice and pitch. Speaking too fast, very long overs or clipped starts make the timer run faster for a few seconds. Station A sees a TX RATE indicator when this happens, and the sitrep at the end lists overs and penalties by station.

Each device is one of five types (board, ammunition box, pipes, rucksack, toolbox). Station B must identify the type from Station A's description before the manual is issued. To set a type for a lesson, open Station A as device.html?type=ammo-01 (or board-01, pipe-01, ruck-01, box-01).

The answers are checked on the server, so neither station can find them in the browser.
